Description
The Training Base program at the Justine Henin Academy is designed for tennis players aged 12 to 18 who wish to benefit from the Academy’s high-performance expertise for 16 weeks per year. The program offers individualized, high-intensity training tailored to the demands of elite-level tennis.
The player must complete their 16 weeks during the period of September 1, 2026 to June 21, 2027.
The training methodology was developed by Justine Henin, Olivier Jeunehomme, and their coaching staff. Drawing on their experience and knowledge of the highest level of professional tennis, they have created a high-performance program that covers all aspects of a professional player’s preparation, including:
- Technical and tactical mastery
- Physical and mental conditioning
- Nutrition
- Match preparation (warm-up, hydration, nutrition, cool-down)
To ensure individual attention and high-quality training, players train with a maximum of 3 players per court.
Program
Tennis Training
- Up to 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- 2 to 3 players maximum per court
- Strong focus on technique and efficiency
- Development of tactical game awareness
- Match-play training
Physical Training
- 7.5 hours per week of personalized training, including stretching
- Optimization of each player’s physical condition based on their unique body characteristics
- Regular physical fitness testing and monitoring
Mental Preparation
- Ongoing training in mental strength and resilience led by the coaches
- Individual mental development program (available upon request)
Personal Development
- Regular workshops on mental strength, nutritional education, match management, etc.
- Workshops led by Justine Henin
Accommodation
Players are housed in double rooms (same gender). The residence features a large common living area, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and Wi-Fi. The residence is supervised 24/7.

Meals
Meals are prepared by a nutritionist. They are healthy, balanced, and tailored to the needs of high-level athletes.
Meals included in the program:
- Residential players: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner, Monday to Sunday
- Non-residential players: lunch and afternoon snack, Monday to Friday
Activities
Cultural, sports, and recreational activities are organized on weekends for players staying at the residence from Monday to Sunday.
