The Justine Henin Academy joins the BNP Paribas Fortis Young Talents Team!

Justine Henin and her team are pleased to announce a new partnership with BNP Paribas Fortis, which has had a prominent place in the international tennis scene for many years.

Created in 2018, the “Team BNP Paribas Jeunes Talents” program now opens its doors to young Belgian hopefuls, under the name “Team Jeunes Talents BNP Paribas Fortis with Justine Henin Academy”. This program provides sporting and extra-sporting support in the form of human follow-up and financial backing designed to optimize the chances of selected young players of becoming ATP and WTA Top players.

Through the Program, BNP Paribas Fortis aims to help young Belgian tennis talents fulfill their dream, their passion, by giving them the opportunity to optimize their chances of reaching the highest level, and to act as a “gas pedal” for young champions who are committed, responsible and open to the world.

By 2025, this new program will comprise 8 young players – boys and girls aged 12 to 18 – selected and trained under the direct supervision of Justine Henin and Carlos Rodriguez, the former world tennis number one’s long-standing coach. Justine Henin’s role will be both to act as ambassador for the program and to contribute to its roll-out by participating in the selection of the youngsters and sharing her experience as a top-level player with the talents taking part in the “BNP Paribas Fortis Young Talent Team with Justine Henin Academy” program.

In practical terms, the program will reduce the cost of training, estimated at several tens of thousands of euros per year. It also offers human support, with language courses, media-training workshops, personal image management, awareness-raising on nutrition, doping and sports betting, a presentation on the inner workings of a tournament, the role of an agent, etc.
